What we are looking for

• Guides on precious metals, gemstones, buying, care, or sustainability that answer a real question a reader would search for.
• Original work, grounded in gemology and reputable industry sources, not published elsewhere.
• Clear, plain-English writing that respects the reader's time and money.

Editorial standards

• Aim for 1,000 to 1,800 words of substantive, accurate content.
• Cite reputable sources such as the GIA. We fact-check, and we flag figures that change over time (metal prices, lab-grown discounts).
• No thin or purely promotional content. Contributions are editorial, not advertising.
• We edit for clarity, accuracy, and style.

How to pitch

Email editor@greenjewelrynews.com with a short pitch of two or three sentences, your angle, and a link to a writing sample. If you have a full draft, attach it. We respond to pitches we can use within about a week.
